Lavaan and Average Variance Extracted

I am trying to do a confirmatory factor analysis with Lavaan. I need a way to get at the Variance Extracted information. Is there a simple way to do the calculation. Lavaan does not seem to output this.

It does. See:
library(lavaan)
?inspect
inspect( fit, "rsquare" )
