SVAR Impulse response to 1 shock

abdellah
Hi Everyone

 > var.2c <- VAR(Canada,p=2,type="const")
 > irf.1 <- irf(var.2c,impulse="rw",response=c("e"))

...makes *vars* to compute the orthogonalised impulse responses to a
*unit= one standard deviation=sqrt (var(resid-rw)) * change in variable rw.
Now, if I want to compute the the orthogonalised impulse responses to a
*1* change in variable rw, how do I do that? ( for Impulse response coefficients, Upper Band,and Lower Band,)

I i have tried to use this command,

> n=length(irf.1$irf$rw)
> for(i in 1:n){irf.1$irf$rw[i]=irf.1$irf$rw[i]/"sqrt (var(resid-rw)"}

Its good working for the  Impulse response coefficientsn, but for the Upper Band,and Lower Band, are not change????
