I have a continuous response variable (Y) that was measured at the same sites for several consecutive years. I would like to run a simple linear regression to see if the Y's are linearly related to a "fixed" environmental gradient across the sites (continuous variable). I know I need to account for these being repeated measures, but I have never done anything like this before. I figure I could ise a generalized linear model, but I'm not sure what the formula (and code) should be. Could someone please provide some insight.
