lintr error

Christian Hoffmann-3
library("lintr")
Error: package or namespace load failed for 'lintr' in loadNamespace(j
<- i[[1L]], c(lib.loc, .libPaths()), versionCheck = vI[[j]]):
  there is no package called 'magrittr'

  library("magrittr")
Error in library("magrittr") : there is no package called 'magrittr'

session.Info():
R version 3.4.4 (2018-03-15)
Platform: x86_64-apple-darwin15.6.0 (64-bit)
Running under: macOS High Sierra 10.13.3

This error did not occur under R version 3.4.3

Search in R-project resulted in advice which did not work.

How can I proceed to get a working lintr?

Thanks CH
