[R-pkgs] ethnobotanyR 0.1.8

Cory Whitney
The newest release of the ethnobotanyR package (v0.1.8) calculates common quantitative ethnobotany indices to assess the cultural significance of plant species based on informant consensus. The package closely follows two papers, one on cultural importance indices (Tardio and Pardo-de-Santayana 2008) and another on agrobiodiversity valuation (Whitney, Bahati, and Gebauer 2018). The newest version of ethnobotanyR (0.1.8) has been released with a number of new features:

The goal is to provide an easy-to-use platform for ethnobotanists to work with quantitative ethnobotany assessments.

Install the released version of ethnobotanyR from CRAN with
install.packages("ethnobotanyR")

Install the working version of ethnobotanyR from GitHub with
devtools::install_github("CWWhitney/ethnobotanyR")
