I think it's the extra right parenthesis after "okpoly".
I have tried removing a parenthesis to the right of poly and I get this error:
Error in bboxx(bbox(as.points(poly)), nsim = 29, s = seq(5, 80, 5)) :
unused argument(s) (nsim = 29, s = seq(5, 80, 5))
It looks like you have one comma for poly, one for as.points, and one for bbox. The original error was due to the first comma... The code itself was from the example() function, so I am not sure why it won't run.
